Google Launches Mobile Banner Ads

“Google joined a handful of other companies by announcing that it is delivering mobile banner ads. Companies that use Google’s AdWords to advertise online now have the option of displaying a banner ad on cell phones instead of simple text. Google includes a text line under each banner identifying it as an advertisement.”

I am more curious to know what kind of conversions / revenue does mobile browsing have. How big are the darn ads anyway. I can’t imagine that as an Adsense publisher this would be something I would see any real income from..unless it was popular things you look up online on your phone.. directions,movie times…hmmm.
