When deciding on an angle to promote a product ask; “What is it the merchant is NOT doing for their customers? What questions would you have as a customer that the merchant’s web site is not addressing?Use this to create content for your site.
Examples of this tactic:
- A FAQ -Frequently Asked questions about the affiliate product or service.
- Tutorials – Video or screen shot tutorials on subjects like use, installation, trouble shooting.
- Unusual uses for a product or service( Video works best for this).

This is a great way of thinking outside of the box. Alot of people have generated good revenue by creating mashups with just this thought process in mind.
