Step 1. Consider the Interest:

It is essential that you have an actual interest in the topic or use for a product or service that you would like to promote. It makes it so much easier to continually add good content to your site ( on your own or directing writers you hire), as well as develop a relationship with your potential customer. Thus creating a quality resource that readers are searching for, the search engines and social networks will love and in turn you will reap the rewards of performance marketing.

Not only your interest is important but the customer interest is key in defining your potential returns on your investment of time. This is part of the research you will be doing. To determine which niche (or micro niche) is best for you to target initially and get the most out of.

The ultimate goal is to make you the expert in your topic/niche.

At first this can seem an overwhelming task, but don’t let it scare you. This is a self-discovery process that we take you through step by step. You will be amazed at the original ideas you can come up with, while brainstorming.

Brainstorming Exercise: Don’t Skip Doing This Next exercise….

Things that I want you to stop and write down:

  1. Make a list of your interests.
  2. What are your hobbies?
  3. What subject would you like to learn more about?
  4. What skills do you already have?
  5. What Work experiences can you share that would benefit readers?
  6. What personal experiences have you had, that would help others with your insights?

Once you write them down it becomes quite clear that you have a lot more to offer from your own perspective for your topic/niche
